Under the direction of the Senior Manager, Personnel Support Programs, the Deputy Manager, PSP, plans, coordinates, manages, monitors, and evaluates the operations and delivery of specialty interest operations and applicable facilities. He/she plans, analyses, evaluates, formulates, develops, adapts and implements financial and administrative methods, procedures, standards and guidelines as well as plans, coordinates and directs the administrative process. He/she advises, guides and directs operations and managers in the day-to-day operation of the applicable facilities. The incumbent assists with the development of budgets and business plans and monitors revenues and expenses. He/she administers, analyses, and forecasts budgets, expenditures and financial activities. In addition, he/she gathers, tracks and reports financial information and data to prepare budget proposals for public and non-public funds. He/she authorizes, records, and documents financial transactions/commitments within an approved budget.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Commerce, or Recreation/Sports Administration or a related field AND some years of experience in a related field

OR

College diploma or certificate in Business Administration or Recreation Services, or a related field, AND several years of experience in a related field

OR

A demonstrated equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience. This includes but is not limited to demonstrated military education, training or experience

Language Requirement: English Essential, Bilingual an asset

French Language Proficiency (Bilingual an asset)

Salary:  $74,250 - $87,400 per annum
