Fish Cutter/Warehouse Worker

Our fish processing team is responsible for the handling, care, and processing of many different fish species for local restaurants. As part of the fish processing team, you will also be responsible for the cleanliness of your cutting tables, the cleanliness of the plant, and follow any other instruction given by the plant foreman.
For this position we will be looking for people who have previous experience in cutting the following fish:
- Sockeye Salmon, Steelhead, Atlantic Salmon
- Ground fish (Rockfish, Sole, Cod)
- Tuna (will train to cut Tuna if not prior experience)
Previous experience in a seafood plant environment will be an asset, but it is not necessary.
Please note this position is for a fish cutter who is also willing to be a team player (some other plant work required)
Position type: Full-time - Monday to Friday 7:00 am - 3:00 pm -Weekends & Stats. OFF.
Duration of position: Permanent
Position Start Date: October 1st, possibly sooner.
Salary: Starting wage TBD (based on experience). The job includes Extended Benefits, RRSP contribution & paid 2 weeks' vacation after 1 full year of work.
