Business Development Representative

  • Research and target prospects using a variety of sales tools.
  • Cold call in order to obtain key information from targeted prospects to meet the qualified lead criteria.
  • Book meetings with clients to speak to Business Development Managers
  • Speak about Buzzword Product portfolio with high-level knowledge
  • On a daily basis, track prospects - identify decision makers, timelines, hot-buttons, and specific qualifications and enter data accurately and consistently into the company's CRM.
  • Attend weekly conference calls with Management and Business Development Managers


  • Experience with CRM
  • Experience in sales and cold-calling
  • Critical thinking related to estimating a prospect's interest level in the company's solution
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Outlook
  • Excellent communication, written, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage time effectively
  • Self-starter and goal oriented
  • Able to work in an entrepreneurial environment
  • High energy, positive attitude

  • Work from home/remote
  • Make your own hours
  • Commission only (lead generation with payout on leads closing)
  • Minimum call activity weekly required

  • Top Business Development Reps may be offered promotion to Business Development Managers which may include salary positions
