THE OPPORTUNITY

Our client, Mondetta Clothing is seeking an experienced and results-oriented Business Sales Manager to take their business to business sales to new heights while opening up new channels.

As the Business Sales Manager, you will be a key player in our continued growth and expansion. This individual will focus on creating new business and key partnerships to grow the account base and sales with department stores and speciality retailers.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Solicit, research and qualify sales opportunities
  • Research to identify new account growth opportunities
  • Develop productive business relationships with current and prospective customers that build individual customer trust and confidence in the brand
  • Develop relationships and work collaboratively with internal departments
  • Understand customer needs and concerns to help them get the job done and win their business through Ecommerce
  • Manage and maintain customer segment accounts, while increasing customer awareness of product and service offering
  • Grow share of wallet with these customers and determine potential customers that may have more complex requirements
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create marketing solutions to grow account base
  • Support new and repeat sales by providing technical and logistical information in a timely and professional manner, always exploring opportunities to increase revenue
  • Determine customer requirements and expectations in order to recommend specific solutions
  • Obtain, answer, and follow up with sales leads
  • Benchmark and monitor competitor performance and activities

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum of 4 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Apparel and/or wholesale experience is a definite asset
  • Excellent and persuasive consultative selling skills
  • Able to effectively suggestive sell
  • Must be proficient with Excel and in internet search
  • Able to build and maintain strong customer relationships - building trust and credibility quickly with prospective customers
  • Proven ability to prioritize
  • Ability to deal and respond to high volume calls and emails
  • Highly goal and results oriented with a strategic approach
  • Able to build internal collaboration to satisfy customer needs and business growth
  • Effective communication skills, both oral and written
  • Excellent with customer relationship management and able to up?sell
  • Able to work collaboratively as a team or as an individual
  • Must be willing to travel
