Responsibilities

  • Coordinate, negotiate and manage all aspects of individual call ups
  • Create Mission Authorizations
  • Assist in mission planning with pilot and DND contact
  • Ensure FBO setup: negotiate fees for fuel/ramp/GPU/oxygen
  • Schedule and coordinate pre-deployment meetings
  • Book travel for pilots and other personnel
  • Track fuel receipts & log cards
  • Verify accuracy of sortie reports daily
  • Assist in planning ferry flights to reposition aircraft: routing & weather support
  • Schedule Customs/CANPASS
  • Manage impact of last minute changes
  • Monitor hours flown on each tasking
  • Prepare initial billing file for Finance Department
  • Act as Operations Duty Officer - on a rotating basis, with other Operations Coordinators
  • Assist with billing Quality Assurance
  • Liaise with Maintenance as required
  • Assist in coordination of annual ground school training
  • Assist with distribution of TACS publication amendments
  • Assist with monthly and occasional projects within the Ops Support Group
  • Perform related duties as assigned by supervisor
  • Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures
  • Prepare items for shipping (packing), respect special packaging instruction if required
  • Coordinate required purchasing actions with Top Aces Log. Conduct local consumables purchasing
  • Support local stores inventory and any satellite warehousing - Parts count and locations
  • Receive merchandise from different sources
  • Provide ISC support to deployed operations, under supervision of deployed Maint Lead
  • Prepare part kits for maintenance personnel
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by Base Lead, YOD

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelors or College degree in aviation strongly desired
  • Computer Literate, Microsoft and email applications
  • Ability to manage conflicting demands
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • 1 to 2 years of Aviation experience in a similar role
  • Ability to perform all work in support of our Corporate Values of Safety, Teamwork, Focus, Innovation and Integrity
  • Demonstrates strong and visible support of our values
  • Travel is required
  • Position requires Controlled Goods Clearance and Level 2 Secret Clearance
