Part-Time Box Office Assistant / Front of House Manager

Job Summary: The Box Office Assistant / Front of House Manager is responsible for the front of house and box office operations when the Director of Audience Services is not present. They assist with day-to-day administrative work, ticketing system and are responsible for the safety and well-being of the public within the Sudbury Theatre Centre facility or outside venues during a show or event.

Core Tasks and Responsibilities

Box Office

  • Promote high standards of patron services
  • Process ticket orders
  • Resolve medium level customer service concerns
  • Assist with financial reconciliations and cash management
  • Administrative duties as required

Front of House Management

  • Ensures the smooth and efficient seating and orderly departure of public and private shows and events
  • Liaises with Box Office and Stage Management to coordinate seating performance cues at curtain and intermission
  • Handles patron issues and concerns as they arise
  • Account for and document concession, bar and coat check revenues and
  • prepares ticket stub counts
  • Managing front of house volunteers, assigning roles and responsibilities at the start of each shift
  • Bar stock take and stock rotation
  • Ensure all safety regulations are followed during every performance and event
