Junior Mechanical / Mechatronics Engineer

  • Supporting testing and commissioning
  • Supporting other engineers with the inspection of materials, specifications, quantities
  • Assisting your colleagues in performing composition audits;
  • Check and cross-reference drawings and assist in producing as-built drawings for operations;
  • Gather results for existing and proposed equipment, systems or processes;
  • Monitor ground improvements, installations and testing.
  • Coordinate and meet with project teams to discuss requirements and constraint issues;
  • Make reports and update daily activities for management review;
  • Support in maintaining technical templates for RFP’s;
  • Maintain and organize records/databases and drawings/projects: Technical drawing conversion to electronic format. (Includes documents for regulatory requirements. (eg. Environmental reports etc.);
  • Coordinate with internal and external staff to help organize/implement various project aspects;
  • Project transport co-ordination;
  • Perform various tasks needed for ongoing projects like organize orders and shipments as well as manage cost breakdowns of projects.


  • Mechanical Degree or diploma;
  • You have experience working in a project management or technical role either by an internship or by a previous working experience
  • You have good project management and organizational skills;
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Capability to read and interpret mechanical drawings;
  • Working knowledge of mechanical tools and equipment;
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook)
  • Previous experience working with of Microsoft Project a plus
  • Experience with 2D modeling in AutoCAD plus
  • Knowledge in SCADA an asset;
  • Not afraid to take initiative
  • Able to work in a team as well as independent on certain tasks
  • You don’t mind getting your hands dirty
  • You are open to travel to different sites
  • Need to own a vehicle.
