Duties to perform:

  • Direct and coordinate all procedures and activities involved in the procurement of automotive materials, equipment, machinery, and supplies;
  • Locate vendors of materials, equipment or supplies, and communicate with promising vendors to determine product availability and procurement details;
  • Represent company in negotiating procurement contracts, formulating policies and procurement guidelines with vendors and suppliers, and getting the best prices for the company;
  • Analyze market and delivery systems in order to assess present and predict future material availability, propose feasible procurement recommendations;
  • Develop and implement procurement and corresponding contract management;
  • Be responsible for developing and reasonably controlling the procurement budget;
  • Take leadership in employing and training new procurement staff;
  • Coordinate and adjust procurement budget and plan based on ever-changing needs.

Qualifications and requirements:

  • A bachelor's or higher degree in management or business administration or other economics-related field is required.
  • At least two years of experience in purchasing or procurement is required.
  • Familiarity in the automobile parts and components industry as well as in these channels preferred.
  • Keen capability in market analysis and judgement, excellent capability to forecast demand.
  • Very good communication and negotiation skills.
