Redstone Commodity Search are working with an international food ingredients and additives company seeking to hire a Sales Manager to lead sales for their product lines in the Canadian domestic market.

Key Responsibilities / Tasks

  • Responsible for sales and trading of food ingredients and animal nutrition products such as starches, sweeteners and vegetable proteins to businesses in the Canadian food and feed industry
  • Efficiently managing customer accounts, in addition to new business development
  • Travelling to meet clients and prospect new business accounts
  • Identifying new areas and markets for profitable trade
  • Working closely with operations and logistics teams

Key Qualifications / Experience

  • Prior relevant trading or sales experience in the Canadian food ingredients and/or additives industry. Experience with proteins, starches and sweeteners would be an advantage, but candidates with a strong sales background in other sectors of the food and beverages industry can also be considered
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills
  • Good track record of business development and customer relationship management
  • Candidates must be Canadian citizen or have full authorization to work unrestricted in Canada
  • Candidate can be based remotely or in home office
