Job Description

We have an opening for a Business Consultant with experience supporting cloud-based applications for system stability and user interface. This position requires a self-motivated, customer-focused professional with strong follow-through who consistently keeps commitments to projects, customers and fellow employees. You will be the primary customer point of contact and must ensure that each interaction is handled with a professional attitude and a superior level of service.

Responsibilities include:

  • Work directly with customers, operations and development to research, troubleshoot, and resolve performance issues in a timely manner.
  • Manage incoming case queues to meet our stringent Service Level Agreements.
  • Participate in projects and initiatives to improve processes and drive efficiency gains.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction through outstanding customer service and high quality technical responses both onsite and through phone service
  • Clearly and succinctly document communications with customers within our management system.

You have the following experience:

  • 2-3 years of experience providing technical support, in either a customer support or consulting role, for enterprise software applications
  • College degree in computer science or business systems
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, and multi-tasking skills
  • Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Can work in a fast paced, dynamic, and fun team environment
  • Able to deal with the stress related to project timeframes and conflicting/competing priorities.
  • Team player who can collaborate and communicate effectively with all stakeholders; i.e. developers, technical operations, and customers.

Technical Skills:

  • Business Partner Knowledge: Knowledge of People Function business partners in their context: industry trends and competitive pressures, strategies and plans, organizational structure, decision-making process, contacts, technology infrastructure and systems.
  • Knowledge of HRMS and ability to operate as the subject matter expert (SME). Experience with Software-As-A-Service (SaaS) and SQL database installations is preferred.
  • Data Modeling: Knowledge of data modeling procedures and the ability to identify and clearly define the entities (e.g., persons, places, things, concepts and events) and associations between them about which the business must keep data.
  • IT Industry Knowledge: Knowledge of the key directional trends and emerging technologies in the IT industry.
  • Process Modeling: Knowledge of process modeling procedures and the ability to decompose business processes by taking into account software and system capabilities and to ensure reuse, integration, maintainability and efficiency

The Top performers in this type position are capable of critical decision making in a real time environment. They will use their ability to influence outcomes and decisions by strategic relationship management. They will take action, and see issues through to completion.

This position includes 80% travel. Candidates must have a reliable vehicle. Candidates will be reimbursed for travel expenses. Please do not apply if you are not willing to travel.
