We are a Full-Service Lumber and building Center and looking to add a Kitchen Designer and Sales Representative to our team!  The Municipality is located in the upper northwest corner of Ontario in the heart of Canada. Residents enjoy the area’s natural beauty, with pristine lakes, rivers, streams, forests and clear blue skies. The Red Lake area offers great fishing and hunting along with one of the best-kept ecotourism sites in the world - Woodland Caribou Provincial Park.

We are a one-stop shop for all your home renovation needs. We specialize in kitchen/home improvement renovations and custom design buildings. We turn our customers ideas into reality with a “You can do anything” philosophy, so creativity, passion, and a meticulous attention to detail are essential qualities for this role. We are seeking an applicant who has:

  • 3-5 Years’ experience required
  • Flexible hours, must be willing to work some evenings and weekends
  • Knowledge of Auto Revit, Auto Cad, 20/20 or cabinet software
  • Interior design skills are an asset
  • Outgoing personality who is sales driven
  • Must have own reliable vehicle, willing to travel
  • Knowledge in cabinetry, renovations, window and doors are an asset
  • Capable of taking accurate on-site measurements
  • Working knowledge of building codes and regulations

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide friendly and knowledgeable service to our customers about kitchen design and similar home renovation projects
  • Travel to prospective clients’ homes to take detailed and accurate site measurements
  • Complete drawings for customers in a timely and accurate fashion
  • Provide consultation to the client ensuring their project meets all their living needs, aligns with customers’ budget, and is customized to guarantee utmost customer satisfaction
  • Provide pricing and build quotes
  • Create detailed drawings and presentations for clients

Qualifications and Skills

  • Experience with CAD software such as 20/20, AutoCAD, Cabinet Vision
  • Knowledge of renovation process and codes
  • Basic knowledge of lumber and renovation products
  • Experience working with contractors and skilled trades
  • Ability to manage and organize projects, dictate needs, and complete projects on time
  • Basic knowledge of using a CRM system, using this program to manage and organize projects
  • Proven Customer Service background (assisting with inquiries and understanding the importance of obtaining pertinent facts that will ensure complete customer satisfaction.)
  • Understanding of construction flow, timelines and project management.
