Job Summary

We are currently recruiting for an experienced part time bookkeeper. Public accounting experience an asset but not necessary.

The successful candidate will be responsible for, but not limited to:

  • Full cycle bookkeeping for several clients using Sage 50
  • Posting of journal entries;
  • Bank reconciliations;
  • Preparation of cheques;
  • Posting of sales, receipts, invoices and payments;
  • Working with clients and maintaining a high level of confidentiality and discretion;
  • Preparing payroll and T4’s.
  • Preparation of personal taxes (we will train for this)

The ideal candidate will have excellent written and oral skills, the ability to prioritize tasks, is extremely detail oriented, can multi-task, work independently, has strong customer service skills and is a resourceful self-starter that can work in a fast paced environment. Comprehensive knowledge of Sage and excel is required.

The position is currently part-time with full time available from February to May.
