EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY

Full Time ? Cruise Call Centre Reservations

Responsibility Statement:

Respond to customer inquiries for cruise and cruise related products, both from retail and wholesale, to achieve sales targets and contribute to call centre and retail sale KPI?s while providing superior customer service.

Key Results and Activities:

  • Answer calls from retail clients or travel agents, in timely, courteous and professional manner
  • Provide excellent customer service
  • Enforce active selling skills to close a sale
  • Generate revenue to contribute to overall objective (travel and insurance products)
  • Process bookings with accuracy and detail
  • Consistently meet individual performance targets
  • Stays current on products, services, promotions, procedures and technology
  • Identify and solve challenges
  • Contribute to continuous departmental improvements
  • All other related tasks as required

 Specialized Knowledge, Skills, Attributes Required

  • Good written and oral communication skills (French & English)
  • Excellent customer service skills and interpersonal skills
  • Professionalism and patience
  • Organizational skills
  • Team player but able to work autonomously
  • Excellent selling skills and results driven
  • General knowledge in geography
  • Computer knowledge (MS Office, Sabre, ClientLinq) and ability to learn new software
  • Team player

Academic Qualifications and Experience

  • Minimum of a high school diploma ? or equivalent
  • Travel/Tourism school diploma or equivalent related travel industry experience
  • Up to and including one year of on-the-job experience and/or performing similar duties required
  • OPC and TICO certified (If required)

Effort (Physical/Mental Effort)

  • Ability to work with sense of urgency and meet deadlines on time

Working Conditions

  • Call Centre environment
  • Rotational shift work (must be able to work shifts 9am to midnight, Monday to Sunday)
  • Possible overtime
