In this role, you will supervise all development and innovations efforts by our company to leverage your passion for technology and engineering expertise, you will supervise all presently pending patent developments as well as the diverse innovation efforts by our company to develop a drone or other related technology serving the purpose of delivering the policies to clients in an instant, to develop a navigation technology to autonomously control the drop off  of the product by the team experts. You will lead and manage a multi-disciplined technology team and direct this team with budget approvals, scheduling and deadline management. 


  • Actively participate at the board of directors meetings and other leading committees of the company and to contribute to the establishment of the company’s vision and goals;
  • Formulate, design and authorize company policies and programs and to effectively lead and organize activities to achieve goals;
  • Establish a senior leadership and develop objectives for R&D department, lead large scale wireless technology projects designed to support client onboarding, product development and internal strategic projects;
  • Design leadership strategies to improve performance of R&D department; 
  • Provide management and leadership for customer-focused and advanced technological research,  including operational process reviews, process re-engineering and best practice reviews;
  • Allocate material, human and financial resources for existing and future R&D projects;
  • Establish financial and administrative process control;
  • Formulate and approve promotional campaigns;
  • Select middle managers and other executive staff;
  • Act as a senior escalation point for complex issues to proactively identify, research, manage and resolve issues;
  • Oversee curriculum of professional development training plans;
  • Co-ordinate the work of regional divisions and departments;
  • Stay current on industry trends, regulatory changes, competitive landscape and internal product development efforts;
  • Represent the company, or delegate representatives to act on behalf of the company in negotiations or other official functions.
  • Lead customer focused technology investigations and prototype implementations;
  • Manage multi-disciplined engineering team;
  • Liaise with the leadership of product development engineering and product management teams;
  • Partner with corporate strategy to conduct technical diligence for business development opportunities;

Minimum qualifications

  • BS degree in Electronics and Computer Engineering;
  • Min 5+ years of experience as a successful manager of engineering teams building consumer or enterprise-grade electronics and/ or software solutions;
  • Proven specialization in FPGA, real time CPU-s from ground up;
  • Working experience with analog and digital modules;
  • Familiar with theory and algorithms for wired and wireless communication systems, RF interface design;
  • In-depth knowledge of Digital circuits and PCB design;
  • Design of FPGA and DSP peripheral schematics with mixed signals system;
  • Hands-on experience with various system blocks: Ethernet, ADC/DAC, DSP, Power Management, Power High speed serial lines;
  • Experience with development of complex wireless/LOS networks;
  • Excellent judgment skills in order to provide strong guidance and counsel to R&D team;  
  • Excellent team building and leadership skills that motivate team members to drive projects to a successful conclusion;
  • Superior interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills;
  • Exceptional organizational, negotiation, and problem solving skills;

Work environment: office conditions, frequent travel nationally will be required

Work hours: 35 hours per week, with additional hours as required to complete the duties of the position
