Job Description - Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Should have managed a team well versed with Payroll, General HR function, Labor compliances, Statutory & Legal compliances in HR, Training and Development, Employee Engagement & Organizational Development.
  • Work with managers to design and execute plans that allow for the achievement of business and HR objectives
  • Drive informed decision making by using data to identify trends and work with business leaders to determine root cause of issues; develop organizational effectiveness solutions
  • Create reportsusing Excel, Word and PowerPoint which helps management take effective and timely decisions for improvement.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership and recruiting to develop work force plans and staffing models that support business objectives and advance the business and functions (talent acquisition, on boarding, development, talent movement)
  • Identifies HR trends across the industry and proactively proposes programs to address these trends
  • Manage company-wide HR projects and programs from completion to delivery including organizational design, change management, employee engagement, culture, talent management, and compensation.
  • Implementation of HCM solutions from a functional perspective for the following modules: Core HR, Benefits, Compensation, Talent Management &Performance & Goals Management
  • Oversee all employee relation issues by division through designated escalation paths
  • Communicate and carry out the organization's policies, procedures and standards.
  • Acts with authority and the highest standards of business ethics on matters related to employee well-being and protection of corporate business interests.
  • Should have hands on exposure in employee services and counselling, grievance handling and company-wide committee facilitation

Required Skills:

  • A minimum 10 years of comprehensive HRIS experience in any of the HCM applications - Oracle HCM cloud /Taleo /Workday /Success Factors / SAP or other HRIS systems which includes working with time management systems
  • Proven track record implementing HCM solutions from a functional perspective with experience in any of the following modules: Core HR, Benefits, Compensation, Talent Management, Performance & Goals Management, Time &Labor or Payroll is a MUST
  • Good exposure into competency mapping / skill assessment etc.
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Should be capable of independently handling formulation of policies and processes, people management practices, HR strategy etc.
  • Should be assertive, analytical, negotiator, problem solving skills with leadership qualities
  • Should be aware of industrial compliances, govt regulations, environmental implications and processes applicable to a manufacturing set up.
  • Advanced expertise in reporting applications and information management tools including, but not limited to Excel, Word, PowerPoint and the Cognos reporting suite. Includes experience with lookup function, macros, pivot tables, excel formulas and a basic understanding of SQL/SQR
