No. of Positions: 1

Term of employment: Full-time, permanent position, 40 hours per week.

Compensation: $24.25/hour. Overtime at the rate of $36.37 after 40 hours per week.

Benefits:

  • WCB Coverage with 4% vacation pay

Job responsibilities:

  • Purchase material and equipment.
  • Access requirement of material and equipment.
  • Consult suppliers.
  • Review Quotations.
  • Negotiate prices, discounts, credit terms and conditions
  • Monitor progress of delivery schedule.
  • Contact suppliers to resolve problems.

Job Requirements:

  • Education: Completion of college program in Business administration, commerce or economics
  • Experience: Minimum one year of experience in purchasing
  • Language:  Fluent in English 

Core Capabilities:

  • Proficiency in Excel, word and Microsoft office software
  • Ability to pay attention to detail and committed to quality and high accuracy of work
  • Ability to work under pressure in fast-paced environment
