Automotive Technician

  • Use testing equipment, take the vehicle for a test drive, and/or refer to manufacturers' specifications and manuals;
  • Dismantle faulty assemblies, repair or replace worn or damaged parts; and
  • Reassemble, adjust and test the repaired mechanism.
  • Perform scheduled maintenance services such as oil changes, lubrications and tune-ups,
  • Advise customers on work performed, general vehicle conditions and future repair requirements.
  • Test automotive systems and components using computerized diagnostic and other testing devices to diagnose and isolate faults.
  • Maintains vehicle functional condition by listening to operator complaints; conducting inspections; repairing engine failures; repairing mechanical and electrical systems malfunctions; replacing parts and components; repairing body damage.

Skills Requirement

Education & Experience: High School Diploma ; Combination of 4 years of education and work experience in similar trade. 

Language Skills: Oral and Written English Skills

The applicant must be team oriented and customer friendly. 

Wage: $ 27.00 per hour / 40 hours a week

Vacation pay: 2 weeks after 1 year work with organization

Overtime: One and half ( after 40 hours)
