Head of operations located in Madrid, Spain. We lead the engineering and construction sector of oil and gas in Spain; which is one of the world?s leaders in design and construction. We also provide engineering, management, start-up and operating services for industrial plants throughout the world.

Summary: Reporting Project Coordinator, the ideal candidate will have a 2-3 years of experience in the field. The ideal candidate will have interdisciplinary knowledge in an EPC environment. The candidate may be travelling to project sites in Calgary, Edmonton and areas surrounding Fort McMurray or other locations as required. He/she must be organized, a multitasker and able to work effectively in a fast-paced dynamic environment.

Responsibilities: (will include but are not limited to)

  • Coordinate/communicate various issues that affect project engineering design, safety and regulatory compliance work.
  • Ensure that Management of Change (MOC) on project design is performed according to establish procedures, participate in the evaluation of project related change requests, before approval.
  • Facilitate and coordinate all project engineering technical work products, responsible for technical input on facilities sharing/allocation issues.
  • Support the lead Project Engineer / Engineering Manager / Site Manager / Project Manager and Contract Manager for project engineering interfaces relating to licensors
  • Update and maintain project review documentation for review meetings.
  • Perform any relevant work related duties as assigned

Required Skills:

  • Knowledge of oil and gas construction or mechanical engineering in the industry, an asset
  • Proficiency in various MS Office, Software.
  • Detail oriented, well organized, problem-solver, time management, great communications skills.
  • Able to work in a dynamic team environment and under tight time constraints.

Education and Experience:

  • Completion of a University degree. Mechanical Engineering considered an asset.
  • 2-3 years? experience in construction O&G Plants, EPC.

Number of Positions: 1

Hours of work (shifts): Base of 40 hours/week. Permanent ? Full Time. Willing to travel.

Salary range:  Wage is dependent on successful candidate?s experience and education.
