Compensation: $ 23 CAD/Hour

Hours: 40 hours/Week( over time and night shift occasionally needed)

Education: College diploma or equivalent. 

Credential: Travel Industry Council of Ontario (TICO certificate-Supervisor/Manager level)

Language of work: Speak and read English.

Qualifications: Excellent oral communication, excellent written communication, excellent working in team environment, excellent organizational and time management skills, excellent planning and organization skills, strong interpersonal skills and leadership, strong presentation skills, strong analytical skills and problem solving skills.

Start date: As soon as possible

Main job duties as following:

  • Coordinate day to day business activities, handle the sales of all tour ticket types such as air, train, cruise, etc.
  • Oversee the register operation procedures, cash handling, credit card transaction.
  • Understand and enforce company policy, procedures and standards.
  • Provides coordination and supervision to the travel clerks, assign daily work tasks to travel clerks.
  • Inspects and approves various invoices. Make correction in timely manner.
  • Assists with interviews of new travel clerks, select the best candidates for the president’s final interview.
  • Provides orientation and training for new travel clerks, such as creating internal training session, providing software training, providing training presentation and answering their questions. 
  • Provides input into performance appraisals and prepare monthly performance reviews for travel clerks.
  • Maintains and audits time sheets such as the personnel and attendance files of travel clerks (e.g., late, sick and vacation balances).
  • Conduct internal meetings on a regular basis ensure improve productivity, conduct, and quality.
  • Handles complex travel issues and complaints from customers with professional manner until resolved.
  • Assist to design and prepare the travel brochures, flyers, etc.
  • Assist to create the marketing development plan with manager.
  • Conduct internal meeting for continued staff improvement and goal achievement.
  • Prepare and conduct monthly and annual reviews.
  • May perform other duties assigned by manager.
