One of our clients is currently looking for candidates to fill in their service and logistic support Agent. Reporting to the Branch Manager, this role offers general support to the branch with main focus on service & logistic activities.

This person′s main tasks will be to:

  • Research and identify all necessary parts required for nationwide service orders;
  • Update shipping status for service orders;
  • Create and maintain nationwide service contracts in the system;
  • Prepare quotations when service coordinators have increased workload;
  • Ensure back-up and replacement of the Western Canada service coordinator (end of day, vacation  & leave);
  • Responsible to work with the service technician for shipping and receiving of goods and arrange with transport companies the pick-up of parts and materials (this task requires the utilization of the forklift and involve physical work), which also includes posting transactions in SAP system;
  • Maintain inventory (utilizing the SAP materials requirement Planning System) and process purchase orders for products, service contracts, start-ups and preventive maintenance agreements, as assigned;
  • Be responsible for gathering and labeling of warranty parts;
  • Manage all incoming calls and walk ins;
  • Provide administrative support to the branch (memos, letters, reports, updating documents, filing, etc.);
  • Process incoming/outgoing mail and packages;
  • Order office supplies and maintain inventory.
  • Apply and fulfill all requirements of the company’s policies and procedures;
  • Contribute to the success of the department and of the organization;
  • Contribute to the mission of the enterprise;
  • Assume, if necessary, the effective replacement of his colleagues.

Requirements :

  • College diploma with specialty, or relevant experience,
  • 1 to 3 years of related experience,
  • Must hold a forklift driving certificate or be open to take the training to obtain one,
  • Warehouse experience & capacity to lift weights up to 50 pounds,
  • Excellent knowledge of English,  spoken and written; knowledge of  French is an asset,
  • Advances knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint),
  • Knowledge of SAP computer program an asset.

Salary: Based on experience.

Schedule: Day shift, full time, 7:30am to 4pm.

Status: Permanent.
