Marketing Operations - Banking, Acquisition, Insurance and Digital plays an integral role in assisting Credit Card Marketing in meeting their goals and objectives. Our work environment is face paced and ever changing. Our mandate is to gather requirements, engage internal and external stakeholders and assist in the design, testing and implementation of new functionality, while striving to improve existing functionality, processes and systems. Marketing Operations Analysts are required to be extremely agile, collaborating with many business partners across the organization. We are often looked upon to lead discussions and counted on for our expertise to guide Marketing through the lifecycle of their initiatives. We must balance multiple priorities and are counted on to deliver on-time, high quality results.

Position Summary:

  • As a Business Analyst in Digital Operations, you will be responsible for:
  • Creating an online customer service experience with a quality level that Cardmembers have come to expect from CTFS
  • Developing / Updating the Canadian Tire Financial Services websites as key points of contact for prospects and existing customers researching and enrolling in CTFS products and services
  • Operational support and reporting for key online and digital marketing programs

Job Responsibilities:

  • Drive the evolution of Adobe Experience Manager implementation at CTFS to allow for a best in class customer experience
  • Co-ordinate the operational development and implementation of plans for online marketing & website enhancements
  • Support the operational execution & reporting of internal business unit requests for online development
  • Support online acquisition channels for CTFS
  • Provide operational support to help grow enrolments and usage of credit card customer online account
  • Provide usability analysis & recommendations for CTFS online initiatives
  • Manage relationship between business teams, technical teams & 3rd party vendors
  • Initiate business recommendations to drive process improvements, operational efficiencies and growth opportunities
  • Foster productive business relationships with various partners and key business units
  • Monitor campaign and website performance to provide real-time added value
  • Execute User Acceptance Testing and Production Validation for new initiatives and changes to existing functionality
  • Utilize project management skills to lead day to day activities, updates, and manage resources
  • Have a direct impact on the success of the online marketing channel for CTFS


  • Experience using Content Management Systems, specifically proficient with AEM (Adobe Experience Manager)
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite software
  • Experience with web development
  • Experience with web analytics tools (Google Analytics, GA360)
  • University or College degree
  • 2+ years of business experience
  • Advanced PC skills (internet, spreadsheet, word processing, presentation software, etc)
  • Ability to translate technical opportunity into actionable recommendations and business plans
  • Ability to think and problem solve creatively to help solve business & technical challenges
  • Strong analytical, technical and strategic abilities, but not constrained to rigid paradigm thinking
  • Self-starter with ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams
  • Excellent organization and execution skills
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, negotiation and presentation skills
  • Financial Services experience considered an asset
  • Project Lead experience considered an asset
  • Working knowledge of/experience supporting marketing business areas considered an asset
  • Experience working in Agile Methodology considered an asset
