We are a seasonal business located in Percé, in the beautiful Gaspé penninsula. The bakery has four baker/pastry cook positions available for the 2017 summer season :

Principle functions:

  • Prepare the bread and croissant dough
  • Make and cook by hand a range of bread and pastry items
  • Produce a range of french and québécois desserts
  • Prepare different bases, for example, pastry cream
  • Frost and decorate cakes and other baked goods
  • Prepare and cook homemade biscuits and muffins
  • Help produce other bakery foods
  • Clean and maintain baking equipment
  • Prepare items for sale, as required

Desired expérience : One to two years professional expérience.


  • Baking or pastry diplôma completed, or relative experience
  • Good understanding of the different methods and techniques of baking and/or pastry
  • Ability to organise and prioritise
  • Creative and dynamic, and takes pride in their work
  • Good flexibility regarding work hours.

Salary : $12-13 hourly

Hours: 40

Duration : 3 months +
