The Opportunity

We are a global leader in the development of enterprise data management and analysis software. We design and develop ZEMA, a sophisticated suite of products that provide clients with powerful capabilities for data collection, process automation and business intelligence through web based analytical tools, services and dashboards. 

The Implementation and Provisioning Manager will manage a pipeline of implementation, migration, upgrade and conversion projects and provide technical expertise, project guidance, and training to implementations and support staff as well as customers' technical teams.

Responsibilities

  • Liaise with other teams involved in new client implementations and share best practices and shape handover to operations to ensure that the customer experience is maintained throughout
  • Work in partnership with customers' business and technical teams to ensure we deliver for them on behalf of ZE. This will involve working both on-site as well as from our head office
  • Oversee work done by not only local staff, but also members of the support team in the UK who engage in Operational Implementations work
  • Work with Product Management & Software Development Teams to ensure the ongoing operability of our software and systems, paying close attention to the ease of migration and upgrade
  • Apply and enhance the Quality Management Processes that surround Operational Implementations
  • Manage a small team of Implementation Analysts and Consultants
  • Oversee the work of the Release & Deployment Team -- currently a sub-team in Operational Implementations
  • Measure team performance via a set of standard KPIs and over time elevate by engaging in continuous improvement
  • Comply with existing policies and procedures and contribute to the development of new or enhanced processes and procedures
  • Work closely with Project Managers and PMO to ensure the end-to-end delivery and overall project objectives are met and benefits realized
  • Enhance documentation for both internal staff and customers

Requirements

  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Technology, or equivalent
  • Over 3 years' experience in customer-facing role and/or relevant work experience
  • Good understanding of Project Management Best Practices -- familiarity with PMP or PRINCE2
  • Experience in technical writing, preferably in a system or software application development environment 
  • Mid to advanced level of SQL scripting 
  • Very good knowledge of relational data models
  • Good understanding of web server configurations (such as Apache Tomcat or Web sphere)
  • Experience with Linux an asset
  • Basic understanding of software and interface development process is preferred
  • Willingness and ability to travel (domestic and international)
